Tia’s Bamboo Cottages and Spa, located in Roseau, St. George, Dominica, offer a unique and authentic island experience. The cottages, constructed by Tia himself, are charming wooden cabins nestled on a hillside in a picturesque natural setting. Each cottage features a window, double bed, mosquito net, sink, toilet, and terrace with a hammock. Some cottages even have their own sulfur mineral pool and cold showers, while others offer hot showers. Guests can enjoy the use of two mineral springs located below the cottages.

Our Story

The owner, Tia, has created a warm and welcoming environment for guests, emphasizing an authentic island feel and setting. The staff at Tia’s Bamboo Cottages are known for being extremely helpful, adding to the overall positive guest experience. The location’s proximity to a river and natural springs enhances the tranquil and natural ambiance of the place. Additionally, there is a small restaurant on-site that serves simple Caribbean cuisine, open to both guests and the public. The cottages may be sparsely furnished, but the focus is on providing a genuine and immersive experience in the heart of Dominica’s lush surroundings.
